ABSTRACT
This research is directed to be able to describe the role of Hindu religious education
teachers in dharma gita extracurricular activities in increasing students' sradha bhakti at
State Elementary School 10 Cakranegara. changing times which are increasingly
sophisticated and result in a decrease in the skills of students they have, so that non
academic activities experience a decrease, namely in the religious field, especially in the
Dharma Gita. So as to formulate three formulations of the problem, namely the role of Hindu
Religion education teachers, Constraints and Efforts made. This study aims to be able to
improve students' sradha bhakti. using non-participant observation methods, interviews and
documentation, this study uses two theories to solve, namely humanism and behaviorism. The
results of this study, namely, the role of Hindu religious education teachers in dharma gita
extracurricular activities in increasing students' sradha bhakti has played an important role
in: a) The teacher as a facilitator, the teacher as a motivator, the teacher as a demonstrator,
the teacher as an inspiration, the teacher as a teamwork developer. So that the obstacles
experienced are in the form of: b) Lack of dharma gita coaches who are competent in their
fields, lack of infrastructure, weak ability to master the dharma gita tones, some students who
are less enthusiastic, can be faced with various efforts made by Hindu Religion education
teachers to Hindu students at 10 Cakranegara State Elementary School which can be carried
out according to the following forms: c) Discipline in praying before and after activities,
varied methods, providing motivation, Information and Technology (IT) based learning
media.
