Sosialisasi Pembinaan Pendidikan Karakter Pada Peserta Didik di Lingkungan Desa Sangket dan Gesing Kabupaten Buleleng

Abstract

The implementation of this community service activity is to provide understanding to students in the learning process as a form of character development to anticipate the negative impacts of current globalization. This activity was carried out in the form of applying learning to elementary school students in Sangket Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency with a total of 18 participants and junior high school students in Gesing Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, with a total of 25 participants. The activity began by providing material on Character Education based on Balinese Local Wisdom, then the implementation of learning was carried out with the help of a short video Cup for Teachers. In the final activity, students are given the opportunity to convey the results of discussions with their group in front of other groups, as well as convey the impressions and messages they felt while participating in the learning implementation activities carried out. In accordance with the expected objectives, this activity is able to: (a) provide an understanding of strengthening character education for students; (b) develop positive behavioral habits that students must carry out both in the family, school and community environments; and (c) increasing student participation in interactive learning.
