Abstract

This community service aims to provide an understanding of the importance of teachers knowing the right methods in providing science material to their students. This community service was conducted at Bintang Hati Kindergarten, Sidatapa Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, which consisted of three teachers and students at the Kindergarten. The community service steps include providing theoretical and practical understanding that utilizes the natural surroundings as a medium for learning science. The theories provided include the understanding of science, how children learn science, the benefits of science for children, and fun science learning methods for children. The results of this community service show that teachers can understand well the theories presented and are able to implement fun science learning methods, namely utilizing the natural surroundings as a medium for learning science. Students look happy and enthusiastic, they can explore and understand the natural surroundings that provide enormous benefits in everyday life. Through this training, teachers and students can understand that the natural surroundings can be used as a medium for learning science. The natural surroundings provide opportunities for students to freely explore and increase students' curiosity. It's just that you still pay attention to the suitability of the material and security so that the science learning process can run well
