Media Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Siswa SD Negeri 1 Joanyar

Abstract

Character education aims to prevent the younger generation from developing bad character. Character cultivation is done through the introduction of cultural values and local wisdom that are closely related to everyday life. This community service activity is carried out in the form of making teaching modules for teachers in which character education is inserted for elementary school students, this community activity aims to improve character education. Teachers and students are involved in the strategies implemented. In the implementation of community service, the author provides direct assistance during the activity to teachers and students. The important thing in the character cultivation process is through local wisdom which is used to strengthen character education through socialization and real activities that will be remembered by students in terms of protecting and caring for the environment because all of that is a reflection of character education. The hope of this activity is that this activity must be able to provide benefits for students at SD Negeri 1 Joanyar in terms of character cultivation. Indirectly, teachers also prepare learning administration in the form of teaching modules that must be inserted with character education in it.
