Religious moderation education is a concept of community life, especially in Balinese communities, which is implemented in a system based on collectivity, egalitarianism, strengthening Balinese social identity, and the ideology of culturally based sociological value conservation. The importance of religious moderation education in a multicultural society led the Master of Religious Studies and Culture Study Program of the Mpu Kuturan State Hindu Institute from May 8-9, 2025 to carry out community service activities in Patas Village, Gerokgak with the theme Religious Moderation from a Hindu Perspective. The theme of Religious Moderation from a Hindu Perspective is important to be raised in community service activities because Hindu teachings fundamentally emphasize balance, harmony, and tolerance between humans. The main objective of this activity is to raise public awareness about the importance of religious moderation in maintaining social harmony in a multicultural environment. The implementation of this activity involved religious leaders, PHDI, traditional leaders, village officials, and community representatives from various religious backgrounds. The method used in this community service activity was a participatory counseling method. This method was chosen because it allows for two-way interaction between the implementation team and the community. The results of the activity demonstrated an increased public understanding of the importance of religious tolerance and moderation. Participants were able to identify actions that fall into the extreme and intolerant categories and committed to avoiding them. Furthermore, a community initiative emerged to form small groups to serve as forums for interfaith discussions aimed at strengthening communication and cooperation among residents.
