Abstract

Sembiran Village, located in Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency, is one of Bali's oldest villages, rich in the cultural heritage of Bali Mula or Bali Aga. This village holds a long historical legacy encompassing prehistoric artifacts, ancient inscriptions, and traditional customs that continue to be preserved. This study aims to explore the cultural tourism potential of Sembiran Village through various aspects, including traditional architecture, performing arts, ceremonial traditions, historical sites, and the lifestyle of the community deeply rooted in ancestral traditions. The uniqueness of Sembiran Village is reflected in its ancient traditional houses, sacred dances such as Rejang Dewa and Baris Panah, and ancient inscriptions from early Balinese kingdoms, all of which enrich the village's historical value. Furthermore, the traditional dances and rituals, passed down through generations, form the core attractions of cultural tourism in this area. However, infrastructure development and sustainable tourism management are necessary to enhance visitor comfort without compromising the authenticity of its traditions. This abstract concludes that Sembiran Village holds significant potential as a premier cultural tourism destination in North Bali. Preservation efforts combined with prudent tourism management can establish the village as a tourism icon that is not only captivating but also educative, offering profound insights into the local wisdom of Bali Mula.
