Abstract

Humans are rational beings who are able to determine their own path in life. Rational humans
are not believers who, like children, must follow what their father says, but rather adults who
seek the truth, through dialogue with themselves and outside parties who are considered to
have authority. These humans have two identities that come from themselves, such as: their
soul (the similarity of all human identities) and their bodies (skin color, race, gender). Although
the distance between body and soul is very close, these two types of identities have very
different consequences. The first leads to an understanding of the similarity of human identity
and therefore respect for the right to life of every person. The second, on the contrary,
emphasizes differences in external characteristics, feels that they are the most important, who
must be respected, gives birth to an attitude of triumphalism, and by any means wants to realize
their superiority, their feelings or religion, including violence. In Hinduism, humans are seen
as creatures who have many enemies within themselves because it is implicitly contained in the
teachings of Sad Ripu, kama, lobha, krodha, mada, moha and matsarya. The concept cannot
be eliminated just like that in a very short time, because it continues to flow in the human mind.
For Hindus, especially Hindus in Bali and Indonesia, it can be found in people who have this
nature. Balinese society has had the Tattwa Sangkaning Dadi Janma palm leaf as a sacred
guideline, if the guideline is implemented properly in society, there are very few cases in the
Balinese Community.
