PRAKTEK PEMBUATAN CANANG DAN TIPAT SARI BENTUK PENGIMPLEMENTASIAN AJARAN CATUR MARGA YOGA

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide an opportunity for the younger generation to own a better understanding about the meaning of yadnya ceremonies in Hinduism. This is the background for the implementation of community service in Tembok Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. The implementation of community service is packaged in the form of theory giving and direct practice. The participants of the service consisted of elementary school students, namely grades 4-6, who came from the local village. The presentation of the material was assisted by using technological media in the form of laptops, microphones, LCD and projectors so that participants could easily understand it. On this occasion, the resource person directly practiced the ritual means, namely making canang sari and tipat sari. The tools used in practice are knives, janur, semat and other means. It can be monitored directly from the evaluation of skills and understanding, very enthusiastic. From start to finish the implementation of the service was very well both in theory and practice. This was proven, namely that each participant was able to produce canang and ketupat sari forms from the implementation of Catur Marga Yoga
