Penyuluhan Pentingnya Pluralisme Beragama Pada Masyarakat Multikultur Di Era Society 5.0

Abstract

Pegayaman Village is one of 15 (fifteen) villages/sub-districts in Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. The population of Pegayaan Village is occupied by some Muslims, even though the majority of the people are Muslim, the village still has Balinese Hindu characteristics, such as speaking Balinese, using names that use typical Balinese names and also the way they dress. wearing traditional Balinese clothing. This service will be implemented on 25-26 May 2023 targeting the general public in Pegayaman Village. The problem to be studied is whether religious differences and cultural differences can give rise to conflict in society? Apart from that, there has been no counseling regarding the pluralism of religious life in society, especially for the multicultural Pegayaman Village and there is a need for an understanding of pluralism in community life so that harmony in life is created. This activity took the form of counseling which was attended by 20 people from the village of Pegayaman, Buleleng, consisting of various religions. Community Service Program Implementation Activities are divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation and monitoring stages. The importance of understanding heterogeneous societies regarding Religious Pluralism in the Society 5.0 Era is because Society 5.0 combines advanced technology to improve the quality of human life. However, the social complexity that arises from human and technological interactions also demands interfaith understanding and tolerance to prevent conflict and promote social harmony. The Society 5.0 era expands global interaction through digitalization and globalization. People from various religious backgrounds interact with each other more often both in person and via digital platforms. Understanding religious pluralism helps create an inclusive and respectful environment.
