Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology opens up great opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve their efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. This study discusses the use of IoT in developing entrepreneurship in MSMEs engaged in honey bee cultivation. The main focus is how technologies such as temperature and humidity sensors, IoT-based beehive monitoring, and honey production and distribution tracking systems can be integrated to support a more modern and sustainable production process. The results of the study show that the use of IoT can help business actors monitor beehive conditions in real time, reduce the risk of colony death, and improve the quality and quantity of honey production. In addition, the application of IoT also encourages operational efficiency and expands marketing reach through digital systems. Thus, the application of IoT is an innovative solution in strengthening the competitiveness of honey bee MSMEs in the digital era.
