Abstract

Saraswati Day is a reminder for Hindus about how necessary knowledge is in their lives. Through the celebration of Saraswati, Hindu people are not only busy and immersed in the worship of Goddess Saraswati. Still, they are also required to be aware at all times that knowledge is a virtue. On the other hand, without knowledge, humans will be worse off in their lives, and at the same time be without priority. In the Bhagavad-gita, science is a boat for humans to go through the vast ocean of life's problems. So important, the spirit of Saraswati needs to be conveyed and understood by every Hindu human being as a provision for him to navigate a life full of challenges and problems. This paper reviews the Saraswati holiday regarding the meaning of Saraswati holiday, philosophy, mythology, procedures for implementation, purpose and symbols of Dewi Saraswati, reviews of tattwa, morals, ceremonies, brata Saraswati, implementation in the context of character development, and the nature of knowledge
