Kajian Nilai Pendidikan Agama Hindu Pada Ornament Relief Di Pura Dalem Segara Madhu, Desa Jagaraga

Abstract

The preparation of this article is an effort to explore the values of Hindu Religious Education contained in the relief ornaments at Pura Dalem (Temple Of The Death) Segara Madhu, Jagaraga Village. This temple is closely related to the Jagaraga War. This research uses a qualitative approach that includes various data collection methods (Observation – In Deep Interview - Documentation - Literature Study), through a content analysis data processing approach. This research identifies various values such as Hindu Leadership Values, Ethical/Susila Values, Aesthetic Values, and Tattwa Values. These values not only enrich the spiritual experience of Hindus, but also play a role in the formation of community character and behavior. By understanding the meaning and philosophy contained in the reliefs, Hindus are expected to maintain the relevance of religious teachings in facing the challenges of modernization. This research emphasizes the importance of preserving the noble values inherited by the ancestors as a guide in everyday life.
