EKSISTENSI PURI AGUNG SINGARAJA SEBAGAI DAYA TARIK WISATA SEJARAH DI KABUPATEN BULELENG

Abstract

Puri Agung Singaraja is a historical building left by the Kingdom of Buleleng with historical potential that should be able to attract tourist visits, but now the castle is more often used as a prewedding and photoshoot location than as a historical tourist visit destination. The phenomenon of shifting tourist visit motivation and the lack of educational institutions that utilize the historical potential of the castle, this study was conducted to analyze the existence of Puri Agung Singaraja as a historical tourist attraction. This study aims to analyze the existence of Puri Agung Singaraja as a historical tourist attraction, analyze constraints and solutions related to existence, and the role of stakeholders in supporting the existence of the castle. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using qualitative interactive analysis methods through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that (1) Puri Agung Singaraja still exists but there are several influencing factors, namely economic factors, human resources, tourist visits, access and innovation; (2) the obstacles faced are the lack of management funds, human resources, tourist visits and tourist access; (3) Stakeholders play an important role in supporting the existence of castles according to the fields and capabilities of stakeholders.
