ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN DAYA TARIK WISATA AIR TERJUN GITGIT KECAMATAN SUKASADA KABUPATEN BULELENG

Gitgit Waterfall is one of the tourist attractions in Buleleng. Before the Covid-19, the number of tourists who visited Gitgit Waterfall was very high. However, during the pandemic in 2021 to 2022, the number of tourist visits was still small. This research aims to: (1) to find out the strategy for the development of tourist attractions of Gitgit Waterfall Sukasada District Buleleng Regency; (2) to find out the obstacles faced in the development of tourist attractions of Gitgit Waterfall Sukasada District Buleleng Regency. This research uses a type of case study research with a qualitative approach. The methods used to collect data are: observation, interview and documentation methods. The research results show that (1) The development strategy carried out by the tourist attraction of Gitgit Waterfall is to rearrange, take advantage of the beauty, develop tourist attractions; (2) The obstacles faced in the development of tourist attractions of Gitgit Waterfall are limited funds, low quality of human resources (SDM) and weather changes.
