JERO KUBAYAN MUCUK SEBAGAI DAYA TARIK WISATA BUDAYA BALI AGA DI DESA SUKAWANA KECAMATAN KINTAMANI KABUPATEN BANGLI

Abstract

Jero Kubayan Mucuk is a person who is very sacred to the people of Sukawana. However, Jero Kubayan Mucuk in every religious ritual he leads does not mention the mantram which originates from the Vedic scriptures like the Sulinggih or Brahmins in the culture of the Balinese Plain people. Through this research, researchers want to analyze the existence of Jero Kubayan Mucuk and also the existence of Baliau as a reference for cultural tourism in the future. The aim of this research is to highlight the traditional cultural heritage of the Sukawana people. To explain the problem above, the author uses qualitative research. In this case, the author was directly involved in collecting data by means of observation, documentation and interviews with informants in Sukawana Village. Apart from that, this research uses types of library data such as books, journals, or previously existing scientific works that have a correlation with the research being carried out. This research uses Existential Functional Theory. From the research conducted, the finding was that simplicity will lead individuals to a state of Jagadhita. This shows that a person's level of spirituality can be measured by how simply he views and treats life like Jero Kubayan Mucuk in his existence. For modern society, the perspective and way of life practiced by Jero Kubayan Mucuk seems unique, in some ways it is even worth emulating because it has aspects of noble values in interpreting life. This then becomes the reason why the existence of Jero Kubayan Mucuk with its spiritual life will be attractive to local and domestic tourists as a medium of enlightenment in living life.
