Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work engagement, motivation, and employee performance on organizational culture, with change management as an intervening variable following the acquisition of ARTOTEL Group. The case study was conducted at ARTOTEL Suites Mangkuluhur Jakarta, which faced significant challenges related to organizational culture integration, increasing work engagement, and employee motivation after the acquisition process in 2021. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through surveys and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results indicate that work engagement, motivation, and employee performance positively contribute to strengthening organizational culture. Additionally, change management plays a significant role as an intervening variable in supporting the adaptation process and improving performance post-acquisition. This study provides practical recommendations for ARTOTEL Group's management to design effective change management strategies that support the success of acquisitions in the hospitality sector. The implications of this study enrich the literature on the relationship between change management, organizational culture, and employee performance in the context of corporate acquisitions
