The people of Suwug Village still carry out the tradition of holding the intaran every rahina
full moon at the Suwug Village Temple. This tradition is carried out by the Manggala Petang
Dasa, which consists of 40 people and takes turns every year. Manggala evening dasa rotates
from Banjar Kajanan, Lebah, Sabi and Kelodan. It is the community's turn to organize the
tradition and also help with the process of serving lawar intaran. The main ingredient used in
this tradition is intaran leaves. Based on the explanation above, this research focuses on the
basis for implementing the tradition, the form of implementing the tradition and the
philosophical meaning contained in the ngelawar intaran tradition. Religious theory,
structuralism theory and semiotic theory are used to analyze three existing problem
formulations. The tradition of ngelawar intaran is the object of this research. Observation,
interview, literature study and documentation techniques are the methods used to collect data
after which qualitative descriptive analysis will be carried out which includes data collection,
reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of research and data analysis show that
historical foundations, religious foundations and social foundations are the basis for
implementing the ngelawar intaran tradition. Aspects of implementing the ngelawar intaran
tradition include the time and place of implementation, the facilities used and the steps taken
to carry it out. In the ngelawar intaran tradition, the philosophical meaning includes the
meaning of ethics, aesthetics and togetherness
