Abstract

Leadership is a crucial aspect of the survival of an organization or institution, whose success depends heavily on the strategy applied by its leaders in managing the organization. The character of a leader cannot be separated from the religious values that can guide the management of the organization he leads. One of the guidelines taught came from the teachings of Hinduism is the teaching of astabrata. The adaptation and relevance of astabrata teachings in the 4.0 era is highly involved and connected to the use of  technology and has its own diverse challenges. Leaders who apply Astabrata teachings can create a work environment that is 
ethical, sustainable, and has a positive impact on the well-being of employees and society. The purpose of this manuscript is to provide an overview of the adaptation of Astabrata teachings in leadership in the digital age. The strategies used in Hindu leadership are guided by the teachings described to provide a comprehensive view of the relevance of these values in the face of the challenges and dynamics of today's world of work in the 4.0 era.
