The Tourism Awareness and Sapta Pesona Program (SWSP) is a program that must continue to be supported after the COVID-19 pandemic so that Indonesia, especially the province of North Sulawesi, can compete in the tourism sector. The Implementation Team of Community Service Activities (PkM) from the Faculty of Tourism, De La Salle Catholic University Manado realizes that academics are also responsible for the success of the SWSP Program by sharing knowledge and discussing with the community of the Coastal City of Sindulang 1 Beach, Tuminting District in an effort to socialize a tourism-conscious attitude related to the environment, which in this case is the problem of garbage on the beach which from time to time seems to have no solution so that academics need to take action in comprehensive education to erode these attitudes and actions that have been cultured. The initial action taken in this service is to help clean the beach from non-biodegradable garbage followed by sharing knowledge and discussions with policy makers in the village which later it is hoped that this PKM activity will be sustainable at the community level. The implementation team hopes that this activity will motivate and create a new culture in the community regarding littering and maintaining environmental and marine cleanliness at Jalan Boulevard Sindulang considering that this area is a tourist destination area for Manado City so that the importance of sustainability actions that not only provide positive benefits for the environment but also for the local community's economy, and the socio-cultural life of the community.
