Plato's philosophy of idealism emphasizes the importance of the superiority of mind, spirit, or spirit over matter or matter. The main ideas of idealist philosophy are metaphysics, epistemology, and axiology. The role of philosophy in the world of education is to provide a reference in the field of educational philosophy to realize the educational ideals expected by a society or country. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the role of idealist philosophy and its implementation in education. The writing method used in this article is library research or research in the library to strengthen and enrich the research results. This article writing technique then begins with looking for various sources of information in the form of books, articles, newspapers and other relevant internet sources. Then, the information collected will be filtered with the aim of finding the source that best suits the topic to be discussed and mentioned, from there conclusions will be drawn in the form of important things and making the article integrated, complete and relevant according to the topic mentioned.
