In Hinduism, there are many Hindu religious teachings that contain ethical values that regulate how humans behave towards themselves and others. One of them is the concept of Catur Paramita, namely four kinds of characteristics or guidelines for carrying out noble, good and noble deeds consisting of Maitri, Karuna, Mudita and Upeksa. Catur Paramita is a Hindu religious teaching that is included in Hindu ethics which is the second part of the basic Tri Framework of Hinduism. Its implementation in everyday life can be seen in a fragment of the Mahabharata story which is included in the Itihasa book which is part of the Veda Smriti. In the Mahabharata story which consists of 18 Parvas, there are many teachings that we can follow and implement in life, such as teachings about friendship, love, feelings of joy and tolerant attitudes that we can follow and implement in our daily lives. in accordance with the prevailing dharma teachings.
