ATMA TATTWA DAN DIMENSI KEGHAIBAN: TELAAH TEOLOGIS TENTANG HAKIKAT JIWA DALAM PERSPEKTIF HINDU

Abstract

This article examines the concept of Atma Tattwa in Hinduism, which explains the nature of Atma as the eternal soul in every individual and ecosystem with Brahman as the source of universal consciousness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which not only explores the understanding of the mystical nature of Atma, but also discusses in depth the concept of Atma Tattwa as an essential element that connects individuals with the universe and higher reality. Atma, which is the smallest spark of Brahman, is essentially holy and pure, and has an eternal nature that is not affected by worldly changes. As part of Brahman, Atma has the potential to do everything that Brahman itself can do. The mystical nature of Atma is shown in its ability to be unaffected by weapons, fire, wind, or air, and its existence is not limited by space and time. Understanding Atma Tattwa teaches individuals to overcome worldly peace and achieve spiritual enlightenment (moksha) through spiritual practices such as Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Dhyana Yoga. By realizing the true nature of Atma, an individual can let go of the ego, attain inner peace, and live a life in harmony with dharma. This article emphasizes the importance of Atma Tattwa as the primary guideline in achieving the higher spiritual goal of life.
