Abstract

Mental health, as a fundamental aspect of human well-being, involves the balance between physical, mental, and social dimensions, as well as an individual's ability to cope with stress and function productively. In the context of Hinduism, mental health is viewed through the lens of spiritual teachings and life philosophy, where the concept of dharma plays a key role. Dharma refers to the cosmic and moral principles that govern individual behavior, aiming for balance and harmony in life. This teaching emphasizes that living in accordance with dharma—principles of truth, justice, and moral duty—is foundational for achieving inner peace and good mental health.
