Abstract

Ngusaba Bukakak ceremony is one of the important traditional ceremonies in Balinese culture. This ceremony shows a very strong and spiritual purpose in the daily life of Balinese people. The main purpose is to honor and express gratitude to Sang Hyang Widhi (God) for the blessings given, and to ask for abundance and blessings in the future. This ceremony involves high communal participation, where the whole community works together in preparation and implementation. In its implementation, Ngusaba Bukakak involves various elements such as food offerings, traditional dances and ritual music. Each of these elements has deep meaning and symbolism including respect for the realm of gods and ancestors. Values such mutual cooperation in sharing and maintining the balance of the ecosystem are also reflected in this ceremony.
