Abstract

Pura plays a central role in the spiritual life of Balinese Hindus, each reflecting distinct theological values through its structure and symbolism. Pura Bukit Kencana Mas in Desa Penglatan stands out for not having a Padmasana shrine and for combining Tri Murti worship Brahma, Vishnu, and Shivain a single complex, unlike typical temples in Bali. This study explores the theological concepts embodied in this unique pura through a qualitative descriptive method with a theological approach. Data were collected via observation, interviews, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the temple, built by the Saih Pitu from Desa Baleagung Tenaon, is divided into three mandalas and houses symbolic representations of the Tri Murti: Shiva through Gedong Dewa Ngurah with Lembu Nandini, Vishnu through Gedong Dewa Ngurah Bukit, and Brahma through Pelinggih Lapan Baleman represented by fire. The temple reflects local wisdom in religious expression while upholding core Hindu theological principles.
