Abstract

The dual role of career women at the Riyadhul Amien Islamic Boarding School, which is located in Lake Lamo, Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Islamic boarding schools offer students religious education and self-development, and career women play a dual role in them: being responsible for religion and education and pursuing careers outside the boarding school. The research methods used include interviews and observations of career women in Islamic boarding schools to gain an understanding of the roles and problems they play. The research results show that career women at the Riyadhul Amien Islamic Boarding School have a significant role in teaching and educating santri, contributing to decision making and institutional development, and successfully balancing career and family roles, providing inspiration for female santri and other community members. This research increases understanding of the dual role of career women at the Riyadhul Amien Islamic Boarding School, as well as their contribution to education, religion and the role of women in society. These results can be a reference for other Islamic boarding schools in developing the role of career women and providing fair opportunities for them to contribute optimally to community development.
