Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Tiktok social media on elementary school children's interest in learning. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique in this research is using the literature review study method. The results showed that there was a significant effect of using TikTok social media on students' interest in learning. From the results of preliminary research conducted by analysts, results were obtained which stated that the use of Tik Tok online media could affect the student's interest in learning. In addition, there are still many variables that affect learning interest, this component can arise from outside and inside or inside and from a distance. So that this tik tok web-based media is an external factor that affects students' interest in learning. Many of them utilize online media too often, making them forget and lazy to study.
