Pemanfaatan Media Tiktok Dalam Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Nilai Budaya

Indonesian education is currently entering the 4.0 revolution era which is marked by a combination of technology by dissipating spatial, physical, digital, and biological lines. The world of education is required to keep up with rapidly developing technological developments and utilize information and communication technology as a means to advance the learning process. The use of technology referred to in this article is the use of social media tiktok in character education based on cultural values. Social media is expected not only to be able to change the character of students but also to improve the quality of life of students both in terms of behavior, culture and quality of learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This type of research is a literature study where this research series uses the method of collecting library data, reading, recording and processing research data. The use of tiktok media has been widely used by the wider community as a medium in meeting the information needs they want. In this tiktok application, there is a lot of knowledge that can be learned, starting from general knowledge to school and college material. Based on a literature study conducted by researchers that tiktok is a social media that is useful for adding to education in character education through content or videos shared by users based on cultural values that exist in Indonesia, for example videos about various cultures in their respective regions.
