Pura Pucak Cemara Geseng is a kayangan desa temple (a type of village temple), which is
venerated (disungsung) by three traditional villages: Desa Adat Lemukih, Desa Adat Sudaji,
and Desa Adat Silangjana. These three traditional villages believe in the existence of this
temple as a sacred place to connect with God and as a site for nunas sari, or seeking prosperity.
The main objective of this study is to explore and gain a deeper understanding of the existence
of Pura Pucak Cemara Geseng, in terms of its structure, functions, and implications for the
community of Desa Lemukih. This research adopts a phenomenological approach, utilizing
methods such as observation, in-depth interviews, literature study, and documentation. The
findings show that Pura Pucak Cemara Geseng structurally consists of three parts or zones
(known as tri mandala), each with its own specific function. The temple is supported by three
traditional villages: Desa Adat Lemukih, Desa Adat Sudaji, and Desa Adat Silangjana. These
three traditional villages strongly believe that Pura Pucak Cemara Geseng serves as a sacred
place to worship God and as a site to seek prosperity (nunas sari). The main upakara (ritual
offering) used during the yajña ceremony is banten soroh piodal wangun urip. It serves four
functions: the function of strengthening sraddha (faith) and devotion, a social function, a
function of prosperity, and a function of preserving tradition and culture. The implications of
