Abstract

This study aims to develop an Inquiry Learning-based E-module integrated with the Catur Pramana concept in the Science subject of "Seeing by Light and Hearing by Sound" for fifth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the low independence of student learning, lack of understanding of the concept of Science, and the use of learning media that is still monotonous and less interactive. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, and development. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, linguists, teachers, and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Liligundi. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the developed E-module has a very high level of validity based on the assessment of material, media, and language experts. In addition, the results of the practicality test showed that the E-module was in the very good category, with a percentage of individual tests of 92% and a group test of 94%. This e-module is considered capable of increasing students' learning motivation, independence, and conceptual understanding through an inquiry approach combined with the Catur Pramana principles. Therefore, the Catur Pramana-based Inquiry Learning e-module is suitable for use as a learning resource in science lessons in elementary schools.
