Abstract

Art education at SD Negeri 2 Anturan has an important role in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile by developing character, creativity, and understanding of Pancasila values in students. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved interviews, observation, documentation and interactive data analysis to gain in-depth insights into the implementation of art education at the school. The results show that art education not only improves technical skills, but also strengthens students' understanding of Pancasila values such as harmony, tolerance, deliberation and social justice. The art activities, such as drawing, dance and drama, provide space for students to express these values. In addition, art education plays a role in students' character development, such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation and self-confidence. Despite challenges in its implementation, such as limited facilities and time, art education can have a positive impact on the formation of a smart, creative generation with Pancasila character. This study recommends increasing time allocation, strengthening facilities, and training for art teachers to improve the effectiveness of art education in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile
