Abstract

Tri This article delves into the internalization of values within the epic Ramayana as a
foundation for fostering devotion (sradha) and heartfelt dedication (bhakti) among the Hindu
community. The Ramayana, a classic literary work of ancient India associated with Hindu
beliefs, encapsulates moral, ethical, and value systems that can be internalized for day-to-day
living. Examining key themes such as righteousness (dharma), devotion, loyalty, self-control,
and the role of women in the epic, this article explores how these values can be translated into
building a strong spiritual foundation and moral character among Hindus. Additionally, it
highlights the relevance of Ramayana's teachings in contemporary society and emphasizes the
importance of continual dialogue, interpretation, and adaptation of these values in the evolving
cultural and social context.
