The maboros kidang tradition in Busungbiu Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency, is part of the series of piodalan ceremonies at Pura Desa. This tradition is unique in that it uses a deer kidang as the main offering, unlike other regions that generally use pigs, chickens, or other animals. This study aims to examine the concept of Hindu Theology within the maboros kidang tradition using a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The findings reveal that this tradition has existed since the early establishment of Busungbiu Village and the construction of Pura Khayangan Tiga, with historical, theological, sociological, and cultural backgrounds. Its implementation is inseparable from the piodalan ceremony, as both are closely interconnected. The maboros kidang tradition embodies theological, social, and environmental values that reflect Hindu teachings and the spirit of community togetherness.
