PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA BUDAYA BERBASIS MASYARAKAT DI KAMPUNG THENGUL

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in cultural diversity. This cultural diversity includes traditional dances, artistic instruments, traditional clothing, food and also folklore that developed in several regions. Developed culture is the nation's identity and must be preserved to serve as a legacy for posterity and reflect the nation's intellect. Local culture is original Indonesian culture whose existence is almost forgotten by society, especially the nation's generation. Local culture contains moral and social values that are very good for skill development. Thengul dance is a regional dance originating from Bojonegoro, which is one of the cities in East Java province (S. Suttrisno, Riyanto, & Subroto, 2020). This research uses qualitative methods with interview data collection techniques, documentation and also field studies (Darmalaksana, 2020). The results of this research show that from the earliest age component, people try to maximize their existing potential by carrying out Thengul dance training. From the results of interviews conducted by researchers, it was found that the dance training was carried out in a flowing manner because the presence and interests of each child were different, however, maximally, there was one practice per week but not necessarily for the members who attended the training. Some children who are considered to have talent in several skills can already be seen by the coach, but others also often have difficulty memorizing movements due to lack of intensity of attendance. Trainers can also assess from several aspects, namely wiraga, wilongo and wiroso.
