Bhineka Tunggal Ika is the motto of the Indonesian nation which contains the meaning of unity in diversity. The implementation of the Bhineka Tunggal Ika character in Hindu Religious Education in Elementary Schools is very important to foster an attitude of tolerance and respect for differences within the framework of diversity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Bhineka Tunggal Ika character in Hindu Religious Education in Elementary Schools, as well as to find solutions as an effort to face challenges in the implementation. The method used is a literature study by reviewing several journal articles, books, and related documents. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Bhineka Tunggal Ika character in Hindu Religious Education in Elementary Schools can be done through inclusive learning and the development of social skills. There are challenges in implementation, namely: multiculturalism, limited Hindu Religious Education teachers in Elementary Schools, and differences in beliefs. Efforts that can be made to overcome these challenges include teacher training, a multicultural approach and the use of digital technology. The implementation of the Bhineka Tunggal Ika character in Hindu Religious Education can help increase awareness of diversity and promote tolerance and respect for differences, but challenges in implementation must be overcome with the efforts that have been explained.
