ABSTRACT
This research aims to examine the implementation of multicultural literacy integrated with local wisdom values at Titab 1 State Elementary School. This school is located in Bali, an area rich in local culture and traditions. Multicultural literacy is integrated with local wisdom as an effort to develop students' characters who are tolerant, respect diversity, and have a deep understanding of Balinese culture and Indonesian culture in general. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves interviews with teachers, students and parents, as well as observations of learning and extracurricular activities based on local culture. The results of the research show that the integration of multicultural literacy with local wisdom values, such as Tri Hita Karana and mutual cooperation have succeeded in creating an educational environment that prioritizes tolerance, empathy and respect for diversity. Learning that is integrated with local wisdom not only increases students' understanding of Balinese culture, but also shapes their character to live side by side in a pluralistic society. However, the challenges faced include limited resources and the influence of globalization on students' interest in local culture. This research suggests that schools continue to improve training for teachers, provide resources that support local culture-based learning, and strengthen parent and community involvement. in supporting multicultural literacy programs. In this way, multicultural literacy integrated with local wisdom values can be more effective in forming a generation that is intelligent, has noble character, and is ready to face the challenges of globalization.
