Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Siswa Kelas 3 SD Negeri 4 Tukadsumaga

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of inquiry learning model in improving students' literacy skills in primary school. The subjects of this study were 25 grade 3 students from SD Negeri 4 Tukadsumaga who followed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest Posttest research design. Literacy tests were administered before and after the implementation of the inquiry learning model as a measurement tool. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data, which were then presented in the form of tables and histogram graphs. Normality test was conducted using Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, homogeneity was tested with Variance Homogeneity Test, and statistical significance was analysed through Paired Samples t-Test using SPSS version 29.0 for MAC software. The results showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, with the calculated t value far exceeding the t table (45.643 > 1.711) and the two-tailed significance value less than 0.05. In conclusion, the literacy skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 4 Tukadsumaga improved significantly after the application of the inquiry learning model. This study provides empirical evidence that the inquiry learning model is effective in improving the quality of student literacy at the basic education level.
