Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Model Pembelajaran Role-Playing Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Siswa Kelas 5 Di SD Negeri Celukan Bawang

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of Role-Playing learning model in improving students' literacy skills in primary school. The subjects of this study were 17 grade 5 students from SD Negeri Celukan Bawang who followed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. Literacy tests were administered before and after the implementation of the Role-Playing learning model as a measurement tool. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data, which were then presented in the form of tables and histogram graphs. Normality test was conducted using Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, homogeneity was tested with Variance Homogeneity Test, and statistical significance was analysed through Paired Samples t-Test using SPSS version 29.0 for Mac. The results showed that was accepted, with the calculated t value far exceeding the t table (33.803 > 2.120) and theĀ two-tailed significance value less than 0.05. In conclusion, the literacy skills of grade 5 students of SD Negeri Celukan Bawang improved significantly after the implementation of the Role-Playing learning model. This study provides empirical evidence that the Role-Playing learning model is effective in improving the quality of student literacy at the basic education level.
