Tradisi Ngrebeg Keris Ki Baru Gajah di Desa Kediri Kecamatan Kediri Kabupaten Tabanan

Abstract

When carrying out religious ritual activities, the people of Kediri Village maintain their cultural heritage and ancestral traditions. One example is the Ngrebeg tradition, which is related to the story of the Keris Ki Baru Gajah, which is found in the Purana text of Pura Luhur Pakendungan. Therefore, the author conducted an analysis entitled "The Ngrebeg Tradition in Kediri Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency (Tri Hita Karana Perspective)." The issues examined in this study are as follows: 1. The form of implementation of the Ngrebeg Tradition in Kediri Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. 2. Aspects of Tri Hita Karana in the Ngrebeg Tradition in Kediri Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. 3. The implications of the Ngrebeg Tradition for harmony in terms of the Tri Hita Karana concept for the people of Kediri Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency.

This study was analyzed with three basic theoretical foundations that are intercorrelated, namely religious theory, and interactional and learning. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, interviews, literature studies, documentation using a research methodology that had been designed. Data were analyzed and processed descriptively through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification.

The results of the study showed that, Forms of Implementation of the Ngrebeg Tradition: A Glimpse of the Ki Baru Gajah Keris, Religious Emotions, Belief Systems in the Ngerebeg Tradition, Ritual systems and ceremonies for implementing the Ngrebeg tradition containing stages of implementation, People or social units involved in the Ngrebeg tradition. And the Tri Hita Karana Aspect in the Ngrebeg tradition: Parhayangan Aspect, Pawongan Aspect, Palemahan Aspect. As well as the implications of the Ngrebeg tradition for harmony reviewed from the Tri Hita Karana concept for society: Implications for Socio-Cultural Aspects, Implications for Religious Belief Aspects, the Ngerebeg Tradition as a Cause of Prosperity and Harmony, the Ngrebeg Tradition as a Cultural Preservation, the Relationship between the Ngrebeg Tradition and the Ki Gajah Baru Keris
